Steal our 3-tool design stack π¨
Pick the visual direction once, then let every funnel asset pull from it.

Hello everybody, welcome back to Moodboard π΄
In my last YouTube video, I walked you through how we build ads, landing pages, and newsletters that turn cold traffic into leads.
Today, I want to talk a little bit more about the design side of that funnel.
For every new project, we leverage a simple design stack that:
Defines a unique and compelling visual aesthetic
Ensures that we stay true to that aesthetic as we build out each step of the funnel
Letβs walk through the three design tools in that stack that we use every day π

1. Set the visual direction in Midjourney
In my opinion, Midjourney is still the most aesthetically on-point image generation tool out there.
We build email funnels for B2B businesses at Tailwind, and one of the first things we do with every new client is create a moodboard inside Midjourney.
That board becomes the stylistic reference for everything that comes after it.

Once it exists, every part of the funnel that needs imagery can pull from the same visual world: the ad creative, the landing page hero, the lead magnet cover, the newsletter thumbnails, the social posts.
I walked through the full moodboard and personalization setup in this guide to getting the most out of Midjourney.

2. Simplify your design workflows in Flora
If you subscribe to Moodboard, you already know how much I love Flora.
It's an all-in-one media generation suite, and it's an incredibly intuitive experience for patching together multi-step, multi-modal workflows.

(I gave it a full introduction in this edition if you're new to Moodboard)
At the top of the funnel, I often use it to generate a whole batch of on-brand ad concepts.
That exact process is in this guide to creating ad campaigns in Flora.
Further down the funnel, we use workflows that create infographics, social media designs, animations, and more.
Each step can use a different AI model, and it all stays in one spot. The canvas keeps the relationships between assets visible, which makes workflows easy to build and iterate upon.

3. Finish everything in Canva
Canva is still our quick-and-dirty option for adjusting AI-generated media fast.
I use it to create every Moodboard thumbnail. The workflow is about as simple as it gets (I recorded a Loom walking through it last year, you can check that out here).

Canva is where an ad gets resized, a landing page image gets cropped, and a social graphic gets one last adjustment before it goes out.
The Magic Layers and BG Remover tools make those edits easy to knock out fast.

Try it out!
Pick one real offer and the four places where someone will meet it: an ad, a landing page, a lead magnet, and a welcome email.
Build the moodboard in Midjourney, use Flora to create the ad directions, spin the core idea into other formats, then open Canva for the final edits.
We've built newsletter funnels for 50+ businesses in pretty much every category you can think of, and it's incredible how much of our design work happens inside just these three tools.
Have a fun weekend with it π€
