No more “design AI-isms” 🙅‍♂️

A prompt that strips the telltale "AI look" out of your design work...

Hello everybody, welcome back to Moodboard 🌴

I keep coming back to one phrase lately: zig when others zag.

It feels like the right frame for this particular point in the hype cycle, where almost everyone is reaching for the same AI tools to make public-facing stuff.

AI-isms show up everywhere in online content now:

  • the "it's not X, it's Y"

  • the tidy little rhetorical questions

  • the "here's the thing."

When you spot them, you know that the person that published didn’t add too much thought/effort after hitting generate.

The same thing is happening with web design.

Unless thoughtfully guided, most AI models converge on a similar look/feel for every web experience they produce.

It's a sea of sameness.

A while back I shared an AI-ism elimination prompt that steers AI away from those tired phrases in all of your text-based content.

Today, we’re sharing a prompt that serves the same purpose for your design workflows.
