Nano Banana Pro prompts for better looking newsletters 📬
Copy-paste prompts for newsletter thumbnails & graphics that match your brand (and look great).

Hello everybody, welcome back to Moodboard 🌴
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
I published our second YouTube video earlier this week walking through our full Ad Creation Workflow in Nano Banana. If you want to see the process in action (not just read about it), check it out here.
And make sure to subscribe to the channel to get more video walkthroughs of our workflows every week 🤝
This week, I want to share two simple prompts I've been experimenting with to level up the visual side of newsletters we produce (both for Moodboard and for our clients at Tailwind).
These prompts take advantage of all of the incredible new capabilities of Google's Nano Banana Pro and take maybe 2-3 minutes to set up.
Let's dive in 👇

Many newsletter operators treat visuals/branding as an afterthought.
They'll spend hours perfecting the content, then grab a random stock image or skip graphics entirely.
But visuals are often the readers’ first impression! It’s what immediately draws your eye.
A cohesive visual brand can be the difference between someone engaging with your content are totally ignoring it.
The two prompts below help you upgrade your newsletter’s visuals by giving you a repeatable system for creating:
Thumbnails – A hero image that can sit at the top of your newsletter (the same that might show up in your newsletter’s “archive” - see those in our archive at moodboard.beehiiv.com for example)
Section Graphics – Visual breakdowns that make complex information digestible
Both prompts are designed to work with your existing brand aesthetic through reference images and the design notes that you provide 👍

This prompt creates a 2:1 thumbnail with your text as the focal point, incorporating subtle visual elements that reference the subject matter.
If you want the outputs to closely match your brand, the key here is the use of reference images.
Attach 2-3 examples of your existing brand aesthetic, and Nano Banana will filter everything through that visual language.
Here’s the prompt 👇
